Retro Knight Gaming saved my arcade! I am a novice when it comes to these gaming systems but was super excited to purchase a TAG 43” retro cabinet back in April. I have had multiple issues from the beginning. A lot of user error for sure but also issues with faulty hardware and trouble with the software. I had pretty much given up on the machine and posted in TAG Facebook group looking for help. Roman reached out to me and after talking with him, I purchased the Batocera 2TB ultra build on SSD and took his advice on the additional hardware to purchase. On Aug 4th I received the SSD and read the instructions and felt a little overwhelmed as the language was all new to me. Roman was very responsive and quickly helped me install the drive. I was up and running that day! Since then, I’ve added external controllers which makes N64 games awesome to play. I decided to purchase the Sinden light guns with recoil and those are on the way. I’ve had many questions, most of which were answered in the initial set up email. Roman always answered the questions and guided me to the part of the email that would clarify. Its legit i purchased and everything is just like he says. He will also help you with any questions or goals you have. It comes on a a very nice wd drive with cooling fan or you can get it on a internal drive. I found the best minimal specs to be i5 newer gen paired with a gtx 1650 or rtx a2000. Would sugest i7 cpu. I have not tried the ryzen stuff but roman here at retro Knight will help answer all those questions for you. Ps3 is what takes the most graphical power and thats why i suggest a low profile gtx 1650 or rtx a2000 or bigger. I would stay away from older gen processors like the i3 or early I5 chips. As far as ryzen amd stuf ask Roman. Thanks

I couldn’t speak more highly of Retro Knight Gaming and working with Roman. To start, I received my Lexxx build from Roman about 5 days after purchasing it and that was over Thanksgiving weekend, so the turnaround time was incredible. And that’s including that he put an additional 4 requested games on my image. Once I received it, I could immediately tell the quality was better than the TAG image that I was using prior. Everything worked better and the games played smoother and looked sharper. A lot of games that didn’t work on my previous image worked great on this one. The issues that I had (how to change themes, how to change controls, and how to perform specific hotkeys were figured out quickly. Roman would literally respond to every question that I had almost immediately. I highly recommend working with Roman! He’s exceptionally knowledgeable on creating these images and he goes above and beyond to make sure that the build is working for you and that you’re enjoying your purchase!

I knew very little about retro gaming PCs, and I didn’t want to risk damaging a computer trying to build it myself. I decided to purchase the Odroid N2+ Retro Gaming Bundle built by Retro Knight Gaming. Roman, the owner, promptly and clearly answered all questions I had both before and after the order, even giving advice on controllers and a USB hub I’d later purchase on my own. The computer was truly plug-and-play ready for my television, and worked as advertised. Instructions were detailed and helpful. If you are like me and have very little knowledge or time to put a system together yourself, do not hesitate to purchase this bundle from Retro Knight Gaming. It had every game I could think of Doom, Duke nukem, Digdug, mario cart, simulators galore etc... again 150,000! I do know this about my purchase. I had a problem with my card so I sent them a message. Within two hours Roman, the owner, called me and helped me get it sorted out. You will not find a more friendly, knowledgably person to purchase from on the internet. He builds each card to your system, meaning once you purchase he sends you a message asking specific questions about what system you are using including RAM, speed, type etc... then he builds your card. Maybe my card got close to a magnet or maybe I gave the wrong information to him, but that did not matter to him. He sorted though the issues, modified the card, and now it works exactly as expected. I love the custom startup screens, very cool and not present when I tried to do it myself. I would think of Roman as more of a service than just a purchase of a card with games on it. My guess is everyone gets a tailored solution to the gaming needs opposed to a copy of a card with games on it. I am a very happy customer and will purchase from him again. again.

I purchased the 1TB Batocera hdd for RPi4 and to say that I am extremely happy with my decision would be an understatement! From soup to nuts everything has been amazing. First off, this build is exceptional. It is by far the best retro build I have ever played. After several weeks of playtime and tons of games tested, it is near perfect. There has literally been only one minor hiccup with one game. This in and of itself is mind blowing. All the emulators run smooth, the roms basically all work, the UI options are plentiful, and the entire experience is superb. Roman has clearly put a ton of work into this build. There are enough games on this thing to last light years. Also, it’s a brand name WD hdd so I know it will last. Having said all that, the only thing better than the build itself is the customer service. Simply amazing! Roman will not rest until his customers are 100% satisfied and them some. He is thorough, thoughtful, and just a real pleasure to do business with. He made sure that I would get the most out of this build without having to figure anything out on my own. Ok, there is a lot to praise here so stick with me. When you order this you are going to be contacted by the seller to verify the hardware you are using to make sure everything works properly for your application. In doing this I chatted back and forth with the seller and told him exactly what I needed and what I was trying to accomplish as I wasn't using just a traditional Pi build plugged into a TV or one of the basic systems. He took the time and basically did a build for me from the ground up putting emphasis on the specific systems I was trying to emulate and putting much less focus on the systems I wasn't as interested in. No, it was not a next day shipping situation but no custom made product is. However it was surprisingly fast and took just a couple of days for building and testing. It would have actually been faster than that but there was a delay in the release of the scripts for the hardware I was using. That is not the fault of the seller but the manufacturer of the hardware I am using. When I say he did a custom build, that is exactly what this amounted to was a custom built product to my specifications and tested using the hardware as close to the setup I was running as was possible. I was given multiple updates per day and the communication as well as the end result was absolutely mind blowing. I cannot recommend him enough for your retro gaming needs and honestly the customer service was stellar enough that if he wasn't on the other side of the country I would offer him a job running our customer service department at my company. Five stars is not enough as I have had custom made products that I have spent thousands and sometimes tens of thousands of dollars on and the maker didn't give anywhere near the attention to detail that this seller/maker did. Seriously, don't hesitate, don't doubt and don't have a worry about buying from him. I recommend him highly enough that if you do buy and aren't satisfied then blame me for it because I'm recommending him to absolutely everyone that needs a retro gaming library. I bought the Lexxx Build from Retro Knight Gaming after all of the recommendations for it seen here (TAG board).... I talked to Roman at RKG, and we agreed that I would accept a swap for his Batocera card and give it a try. Now that I've had the card for the better part of a week, I'm very happy and relieved that I made the switch. For the uninitiated, there are three major builds of Raspberry Pi front ends, RetroPie, RecalBox, and Batocera. Each front end has its own benefits and limitations, and it's really up to the user to decide which works best for them. Now that I've spent time with all three, I know that Batocera is what I need. The Batocera image seems to be the perfect marriage of feature set and included games that I could have wanted. The collections feature is fantastic, putting all of the games of a particular category (all Mortal Kombat games, all Mario games, etc.) in one easy to find folder, and doesn't clog up the main system select like RetroPie's version does. And yes, N64 performs incrediblly well, as do all of the systems that I've tried so far. I'm sure that I'll unearth some hiccups along the way, but it's all running smoothly.

I recently purchased an Arcade Guys 43” Cabinet. The operating system it came with was a bit lackluster. A lot of the owners of this build recommended upgrading to the Retro Knight Gaming 512gb Lexxx build operating system. It was at a very fair price, so I went ahead and did it. I am very happy with that decision. The build is far superior in picture quality and many more games actually work! Roman has been a huge help in helping fix the few things I wasn’t quite clear about. I am no techie, so his help was paramount! If you are on the fence about upgrading, IMO you should do it with complete confidence. Great product with great service. I have two great systems in my arcade cabinet-retropie 4.7 512GB triple lexx image in pi 4b and hyerspin pc where I use my IPAC4 to use my arcade joysticks and buttons for both systems. Initially, I had some issue configuring my IPAC4 in keyboard mode to work, but Roman helped me out throughout the process. He was super responsive, and I can tell that he really stands behind his products. The 512GB image has a lot of retro games as well as dreamcast, psp and ps games that everyone will enjoy. Also, my trackball games, including golden tee series, work here flawlessly as well.

This is INCREDIBLE! Roman puts together an absolutely insane quality product! The day it comes to the door I was up all night reliving my childhood. The interface is super clean and easy to maneuver. I'm not a tech savvy person so I just bought the prebuilt Piboy DMG that already comes with the Raspberry Pi built right in. You just put this SD card in, power it on, and it runs great. the interface is easy to maneuver and its a MASSIVE library of games ranging from the popular to obscure. Things I have long forgotten even existed are now in the palm of my hands. I can easily see myself spending the next decade digging through these treasures.

this sd card is packed with enough retro games that I'll never even have a chance to play them all, but what i bought this for was the gun games and the setups made easy. there are a ton of light gun games. ive been so busy i havent actually gotten to dig into them, but in the retropie menu, there are setups for sinden guns, aimtrak guns, and wiimote guns. i cannot wait to try them out, I've just been very busy dealing with family issues and as much as i love gaming, family first. that said, even though i haven't gotten to play yet, this build is legit. loaded with intro videos, background music, splash screens, themes, screen savers, and most important, games. oh AND I had it setup for dynamic marquees for my lcd marquee and every game i checked gad a beautiful marquee. i highly recommend this seller and this product.
